Schwarzkopf colour day

Been following our recent blogs? If so, you’ll be well aware that ombré and balayage colouring techniques have taken the hairdressing world by storm and are firmly here to stay. With that in mind we arranged a Schwarzkopf colour day so our stylists could play with new methods and styles – there’s always room to learn and that goes for our most recently qualified stylists right up to our most senior head of colour.

Schwarzkopf is an exciting colour brand who regularly bring out new colour ranges, treatments and tools to keep abreast of all the latest goings on in the world of hair colouring, so Catherine, our area technical rep, dropped in for the morning to bring us up to speed. Top of the agenda was the recently launched ColorMelter, an innovative sponge and melting paper technique to make dreamy, melty, mixey-matchy colouring an easy to achieve reality.

Tools in hand we set about trying out the new technique.

We also brushed up on our bleach and tones and discovered a fab new, super-clean pearly white toner, perfect to add some brightness to the dull winter months.
