The future of Boilerhouse
We are thrilled to confirm this week that yes, the news you may have heard on the grapevine is true. Boilerhouse II is coming. Quite when we’re not yet sure, and location is top secret at the moment, but all will be revealed on Facebook in due course. The future of Boilerhouse is bright and it’s all very exciting!
We believe Boilerhouse’s present, and naturally it’s future, is built almost entirely on our rigorous in-house training regime. To ready ourselves for the big expansion, our training times and days are being restructured, and will be managed by salon director Kim and in-house assessor and niece Saskia. We will now be offering model colour appointments on a Tuesday afternoon from 2pm and on a Wednesday morning from 9.30am. Model cutting appointments will now be scheduled for a Wednesday afternoon from 2pm, and will run to a last model at 5pm, making it easier for you to fit your model appointments around work and other commitments. Please remember if volunteering as a model to allow more time to achieve the look you require than if you were booking a normal appointment. Learning takes time and our apprentices strive for top results from their training sessions. We therefore cannot guarantee a set appointment duration, nor can we guarantee you will see a specific apprentice, as models must be allocated to apprentices training at a level appropriate to the techniques used in order to further their learning and progression.
As employers and trainers, we take huge pride in the results our apprentices continually achieve and can assure you that it is a rewarding and beneficial experience to volunteer as a model and help shape the stylists of tomorrow. We encourage diversity to ready our apprentices for the wide world of hairdressing ahead, so encourage cuts and colours of all varieties, and models of all ages to come forward. As a token of our gratitude for the time you give, your first model cut is on us and just £10 thereafter. If you can then refer models to us, their cut is naturally also complimentary, and you will receive another free cut for your troubles.
